Iron Mountain wrestlers competed strongly at the Mariucci Wrestling Tournament on 1/10

Highlighted by an outstanding performance from DiAngelo Saldana.
Saldana captured first place at the highly competitive 144-pound weight class, winning all of his matches and sealing the championship with an impressive pin over Antione Villeraeal of Marquette in the finals.
Johnny Manier also represented Iron Mountain well, earning a fourth-place finish, while Connor Maynard battled through a tough 16-man bracket to place sixth.
The Iron Mountain wrestling team will be back in action on Tuesday as they travel to Marinette, Wisconsin, to dual Peshtigo and Marinette.
